Add Activities to Your Plan

Your academic planner isn't just for classes! Leverage it as a comprehensive life dashboard by integrating all your commitments—internships, research projects, part-time jobs, and more —directly into your degree plan and term schedule.

With activities integrated into your schedule, you can:

  • Create visual boundaries around fixed commitments

  • Identify optimal time blocks for studying

  • Enable intelligent course search filtering around existing obligations

  • Generate a complete picture of your term workload

Direct Integration

  1. Navigate to the Plan your Path tab in the left navigation menu

  2. Locate the term which requires an activity placeholder

  3. Click the + Add to Term button at the bottom of the target term

  4. Select Activity from the dropdown

  5. Name the activity and select the activity type.

  6. Click Save

Advanced Planning Strategy: Add recurring commitments (research lab hours, organization meetings, part-time work shifts) before course registration opens. When selecting classes, you'll visualize potential scheduling conflicts immediately, enabling smarter decision-making during registration.
