Creating a Clone Account

Admin/Advisor users have the ability to view a student account as the student. This way you can see exactly what a student is seeing in their account, to help answer questions and give advice on how they can structure their plan and semesters with Stellic. This is also a great tool for showing off all that Stellic can do to get students on board!

Click your name in the top right corner of the platform and select '‘Switch to Test Student’. You’ll have the option to choose a student’s plan to view. If you had previously selected a test account you can return to that student’s view. The Stellic platform will then create a clone of the chosen student’s plan. This clone, or tester, will only be available to you.

The Stellic platform is creating a brand new clone of a student account each time you choose a new student. in Clone Student mode, you can move or add courses, and experiment with what the student can do themselves. No actions taken will affect the student record, or be seen by the student.

Once you choose a new student test account, we’ll create a new clone, and any changes made in the current student test account will be lost.

Please note that if a user is both a student and an advisor, this function will not be available for use.
