Priority of Data Elements

Updated over 5 months ago

As your institution prepares your data elements for the feed, Stellic can work by loading data in parallel. This is done to speed up the integration process. Due to the interdependence between data elements, Stellic recommends that you provide data files in the following order:

  1. Configuration Sheet (many of the tabs are validation tables used to link to your feed data)

  2. Programs/Offerings (Majors, Minors, Concentrations, etc.)

  3. Course Catalog (Courses)

  4. Schedule/Course Sections

  5. Student Profile/Programs

  6. Student Enrollment (including transfer and test information as applicable)

  7. Non-student Users

  8. Permissions/Authorization

This sequence is a recommendation based on what we have seen work best with other partners. Depending on the size of your team and technical resources, it is also possible to develop multiple data feeds concurrently.
