Typical Integration Timeline

Updated over 5 months ago

It may also be helpful to indicate the timeline at most institutions for this process from configuration to data feed. These timelines may change based on various factors. For example, we have seen some institutions complete the data integration in as few as two weeks.

As you can see, once the configuration process is underway, you can begin the process of developing your data feeds. This process of developing your data feeds can happen concurrently with later parts of the integration process. We work with you to send those data feeds and then validate them. (See the Priority of Data Elements section above for the plan for feeds and timing.)

It is common for there to be at least one iteration of your data feeds following validation (noted above by the review arrows). We work with you to provide feedback to improve your data feeds in addition to adding custom data elements (particularly things like student tags and identifiers) that can help improve platform functionality to meet the needs of your particular educational context. Validation and testing by functional users also tends to prompt adjustments to the data feeds.

Once your data feeds are validated and functioning as expected , we then work to set up the regular sync. That sync will happen on whatever the timeframe makes the most sense for your context (most institutions adopt a daily sync). We will also discuss how we might incorporate real-time updates to supplement the regular feeds.
