Stellic can notify you of student or university alerts through your email, or notifications inside the the platform. There are two types of alerts, and you can control how you are notified for each type.

Manage alerts by clicking Settings on the left menu, or clicking your name or initials in the top right hand corner and then Settings.

Messages and Requests for Review

Students can send you a message through Stellic, which allows for quick planning or questions between advising sessions. This way, more time in the advising session can be spent on big questions, rather than just the mechanical planning of the upcoming semester. You'll be notified of these messages, as well as messages from other advisors and plan review requests, when you log in to Stellic. You can choose to get an email notification as well -- either instantly, daily, or weekly.

Advisee Alerts

You can also set up alerts for student progress, in order to be more proactive with advising. Get notified when a student fails a course, or their GPA drops below a certain number. You can tailor these alerts to what makes sense for you and your advisees.

For each Alert Level, you can choose how you'd like to be notified -- via email, in-app notification, or no notification. You also have the flexibility to choose how often you get these email digests, if you chose to receive any advisee alerts via email.

For the 'Less Than x Registered Units in a Given Semester' alert, you can also set a grade level. This will only notify you if students in the grade level you select have less than the chosen number of units for the semester. Remove grade levels by clicking the 'X' in the grade level box, and add more by typing the grade level.
